Twitterpated
So there's this thing called Twitter. I've been hearing about it (and pretty much ignoring it) for the past several months, especially when the mainstream media started talking about how awesome it was. (Me and the mainstream media? Not on speaking terms these days.)
Anyway, after discovering a couple of new people's blogs today and reading Havi Brooks's post about what Twitter is and why I should care... well, it made me care.
So I started out small, following a few people whose blogs/vlogs I've followed for a while, and a few famous people just for kicks. And I followed Havi too, since her post had convinced me to kick the tires on this thing in the first place.
Hoo, I wasn't prepared for what happened next. She replied with a tweet of her own, recommending people follow me... and now I've magically got 20-plus followers I've never met before! To perpetuate the misquote: "You like me! You really like me!" Clearly, this thing has a mind of its own...
Now, the only challenge left is to write something worth reading. Gah!
Anyway, if you're into that sort of thing, you can follow my Twitter-self here.

actually I bet a few 'em are out there...
Yeah, Disney's impact on our culture's collective subconscious is a bit scary sometimes. ;)
Thanks for taking the time to click through. Still trying to sort out how I feel about Tweeting.
Hey, you may consider connecting your tweets to Facebook and your blogs. You can set things up so that when you twitter the messages show up in facebook and on your blogs automatically. I kinda like it. You can even twitter by texting on your cell phone. Okay, I admit it, I love this stuff.
